CENTENNIAL, Colo. — AccuBar has announced the release of an interface to the Micros Simphony POS system, the newest release from the industry-leading company.
The interface, which is certified by Micros’ development team, allows AccuBar users to automatically compare sales figures rung up in the point-of-sale system with the consumption figures compiled by AccuBar. That in turn enables AccuBar reports to easily show pouring cost percentages, variances and other metrics for the user’s beverage and other inventory items, which is necessary for loss prevention and accountability. The interface also enables daily updating of the user’s perpetual inventory kept by AccuBar, which is a powerful tool for ordering and spot-checking.
The interface pulls in Micros sales data at the recipe level, meaning mixed drinks can be broken down and accounted for item by item for increased monitoring of beverage inventory and losses. The AccuBar interface supports both the on-premise and cloud-based versions of Simphony.
