Digital wine lists are proving their worth across the hospitality industry, increasing sales and enhancing the customer experience. Now iWineLists offers a usable, powerful solution that solves issues left untouched by other systems. For instance:
How do you keep it updated? Your iWineList works seamlessly with AccuBar, our industry-leading beverage management system that is used to manage some of the largest wine lists in North America. AccuBar
will alert you when an item on your list is stocked out, and you can then
easily remove that item either from a computer or from your iPad. The tablet
admin login also lets you quickly locate where a wine is stored.
Does it only work on an iPad? No. Your iWineList will be accessible not only on any iPad, but also on Android tablets, iPhones, other smartphones and even your company's website.
Will it help me sell wine? Digital wine lists are driving increases upwards of 20% in wine sales, according to early adopters. We give your customers the tools to evaluate the wines, empowering them to search by ratings, view tasting notes, search for a good pairing, and essentially upsell themselves.
And once they've done that, they can email the details of the wine to
themselves right from the iPad, giving themselves a reminder of not only the
wine but of your restaurant and the special experience you gave them.
What happens to my paper wine list? At the same time you're publishing your wine list to iWineLists.com, you can also print it in your custom format. Better yet, when you add a new wine, it will be entered into both your digital and printed wine lists without the need for double entry.
Are we stuck with your design? No. We will work with you to design your iWineList to fit the look and feel of your operation. Or if you already have a designer, we can collaborate. To see a few of the designs we've already created, check out our gallery.
What if I don't want to invest in a bunch of iPads? No problem. Your iWineList will have a QR code assigned to it, so anyone scanning it from a smartphone will have the same feature-rich interactive experience you would have on an iPad, without your up-front cost. The QR code can be printed onto your menu, your paper wine list, on tabletop cards, on a poster ad in a hotel elevator, on a room-service menu, or wherever you like.
Will my sommelier be threatened? We have designed the iWineList user interface as a complement to the sommelier, not as a replacement. Customers can select the wines on the list that interest them, and then review their choices with the sommelier.
