Restaurant Magic Teams with AccuBar to Offer Fast, Simple Handheld Inventory

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. -- AccSys Inc. and AccuBar are pleased to announce the integration of their back office software, which will enable Restaurant Magic users to take advantage of AccuBar’s powerful handheld inventory solutions.

AccuBar has become a leader in hospitality inventory by developing Palm-based barcode scanning units that allow users a fast, comprehensive system for tracking inventory on food and beverage throughout their operation. The system streamlines receiving, ordering, and other functions, and gives its users comprehensive reporting that can pinpoint losses and greatly increase staff accountability.

The integration between the two systems will allow users to collect inventory data with AccuBar’s handheld and import that data into Restaurant Magic. This will allow quick comparison of consumption and sales figures, enabling operators to track cost of goods and other performance benchmarks.
